About the role
We are looking for Support Workers to join our established, compassionate, and
dedicated supported living team across the Liverpool City Region. You will provide
practical and emotional support to individuals with a wide range of needs, including
long-term complex mental health and/or learning disabilities – supporting them to live
independently and achieve their personal goals.
Your responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support in line with individual care/support plans inclusive of
personal development, daily living skills, and community engagement - Deliver and support in-house and community-based activities
- Promote a safe, positive, and inclusive environment
- Support individuals to build confidence, resilience, and independence#
- Manage behaviours that challenge in a calm, consistent, person-centred way
- Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with colleagues and
professionals
What we are looking for
- 24+ months experience of supporting people with long-term mental health issues
and/or learning disabilities with experience supporting complex needs / dual
diagnosis - Reliable, friendly, caring, and proactive
- Strong communication skills empathy, and problem-solving skills and the ability to
motivate and inspire others - Comfortable working independently and as part of a wider team
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends if required
- Relevant Health & Social Care qualification (desirable) or equivalent experience
