Supporting independence. Empowering lives.
verus care & support ltd
SERVICES
Verus provide a range of services to support individuals to live as independently as possible. Our services promote safety, independence, physical and mental wellbeing and
individualisation.
We support individuals to access employment, volunteering, education, or training opportunities. We also support in registering with local health providers and other individual support agencies such as drug & alcohol services, sexual health services, advocacy services and counselling services. When required, we work with individuals to register with local housing organisations and can provide support to access any available benefits such as Universal Credit.
Childrens Services
At the heart of our work is a simple belief: every child deserves a safe, stable, and nurturing environment where they can thrive. We provide specialist children’s residential care for young people with complex needs, learning disabilities, and those who require emotional and behavioural support.
Our approach is child-centred and trauma-informed, ensuring that every child feels valued, understood, and supported. We create a positive living experience that promotes growth, resilience, and overall wellbeing.
Our highly trained and dedicated team uses a solution-focused care model, placing each child at the centre of their individual care plan. We empower children to make choices, take control of their lives, and build brighter futures. Through compassion, consistency, and commitment, we help them achieve the best possible outcomes.
We strongly believe in a collaborative approach, working closely with families, professionals, and key stakeholders to ensure that every child receives the highest standard of care and support on a consistent basis.
Adult Services
Our supported living services are designed to promote independence and empower individuals to live confident, inclusive, and fulfilling lives. We provide person-centred care that respects dignity, privacy, and enhances overall wellbeing.
We believe in giving people choice and control over their support, housing, and daily activities. Community participation is strongly encouraged, enabling individuals to enjoy ordinary, balanced lives filled with positive experiences and achievements.
Our Commitment
We create a safe and nurturing environment that promotes inclusion, independence, and positive risk-taking. By encouraging individuals to use their own initiative and build confidence, we help them develop essential independent living skills and achieve their aspirations.
Tailored Support
Every person works closely with a dedicated staff team to create a bespoke support plan, ensuring care is targeted, relevant, and aligned with their unique needs and goals.
Community based floating support
We offer flexible support packages to those who require a few direct support hours a week. Support can be offered in the person’s home or in the community, with the amount of support adjusted to meet the needs of the individual. We can support with developing or improving life skills, attending appointments, accessing services, or offering assistance to improve mental wellbeing.
